Roofing and guttering, as the name says
Homeguard Roofing & Guttering is a roofing company based in Basildon, owned and run by Tom Eastwood, who has over 20 years’ experience in the trade. Tom works with a small team, and customers’ reviews often mention him by name.
Roof repairs and maintenance are the main part of the work: slipped tiles, leaks, ridge tiles, valleys and chimneys. But we also replace whole roofs, lay new flat roofs in EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and felt, and take on every kind of guttering job, along with fascias, soffits and cladding.
Whether it is a minor repair or a full re-roof, every job gets the same standard of work. We work on homes and commercial properties, and advice and quotes are always free, with no obligation.

What we do
Six kinds of job, from a single slipped tile to a new roof. Each one is explained in full on our services page.
- Roof Repairs & Leaks Slipped and broken tiles and slates, ridge tiles, valleys and leaks found and put right, from a single tile upwards.
- Emergency Roofer Storm damage, missing tiles and water coming through the ceiling: call and say what has happened.
- New Roofs & Roof Replacement Tired roofs stripped and replaced: new membrane and battens, new tiles or slates, and dry verge and ridge systems.
- Flat Roofing Flat roof repairs and new flat roofs in EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and felt, on extensions, garages and dormers.
- Chimneys & Lead Work Chimneys repointed, rebuilt or lowered, new crowns and pots, and lead flashings repaired or replaced.
- Guttering, Fascias & Soffits New guttering and downpipes, uPVC fascias and soffits, and cladding, so rain runs off the roof and away from the walls.
